Autism Service Dogs Although the NAS isn’t a service dog provider, we understand that some families have found them beneficial, paricularly in relation to increasing independence and alleviating stress.  We would advise anyone thinking of buying a service or assistance dog to seek out reliable and robust information before making any decisions.  In this case of assistance dogs, Assistance Dogs UK, a voluntary coalition of assistance dogs organisations, have useful information.  Assistance Dogs International and Assistance Dogs UK also run accreditation schemes.
